About
Hyouka Yuu. The first heaven blessing of a campus sweetheart. She is the oldest and the only daughter of Rui Kai and Wei Yuqing. Born as mixed blood of fifth-generation Japanese of Chinese descent from her father's side and full Chinese from her mother's side. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of her family's cross-culture as they always travel back and forth from Japan to China. Being the only child for quite a time, she grows up to be independent and able to fend herself at such a young age.Her father is an architecture professor in a well-known public university in Osaka, Japan, and her mother was a full-time housewife before she joined hands with her long-time best friend to open a cafe near their neighborhood. Yuu spent most of her childhood time in her mother's cafe and accompanied her father traveling around the world for site-visit. 11 years after she was born, a baby boy named Hyuen Mika is welcomed into the family.Yuu has a childhood friend whom she looks up to after her parents. Ryuuzaki Mateo Lorigeuro, known as 'モト' by her personally. They met for the first time when Loriguero's family moved to Osaka and they became neighbors. Funny enough, he initially mistook her as a boy because she was short-haired. Their mothers happened to be long-time best friends back in the days. As time passed by and due to their family’s close relationship, Ryu and his older sister, Euerin becomes her pillar which lead them to form a trio that they proudly called #TeamRocket. They had their own fun yet silly adventures together in their childhood days.Currently staying in Seoul with Ryu and their three cats—Xiao Ai, Shiro-chan, and Kkuro-chan while she furthering her studies as a full-time scholarship student and working as a part-time tutor. Yuu is majoring in architecture while minoring in photography at a national university in Seoul.

• She pens down letter to Ryu and send it to him every month– one of the things from her as his keepsake.
• She is the last person you should trust when it comes to direction. In 2017, she got lost in an abandoned temple while accompanying her grandparents for their morning exercise in her mother's hometown, Haicheng, China.
• Self-taught herself keyboard and acoustic guitar due to her admiration towards Taylor Swift and her favorite hometown rock band, SCANDAL, after she saw their live street performance in Osaka Castle Park. She, then, slowly learn how to play keytar.
• She was one of her school's representatives that participated in a lot of Mathematics competitions. Ironically, she has a love-hate relationship with the subject.

❝Early Life❞
The story begins when Rui Kai or known as K, a laid-back fourth-generation Japanese of Chinese descent with a respectful family's background met Wei Yuqing, a young reserved Chinese woman for the first time when they enrolled in the same department with the same major in the United Kingdom. Both of them is attracted to one another ever since they first laid their eyes on each other. They only make it official during the last semester of their university life. Not too long after that, Kai proposed to Yuqing and they had a simple yet memorable wedding with the blessing from both sides of their family. Soon after their graduation, they decided to further their study at Universidad de Habana, Cuba. Kai did a dual master's & Ph.D. program in architecture while Yuqing did her master's degree.
❝Life with two blessings❞
7 months after their marriage while pursuing their studies in Cuba, they received a piece of unexpected news that they are expecting their first child, which later they named her Hyouka Yuu. After 5 years in Cuba, they decided to return home and settle down in Kai’s hometown– Osaka, Japan. Later, Kai received an offer to be one of the academic professors in Osaka Institute of Technology - Omiya Campus (Architecture Department), while Yuqing decided to spend most of her time being with her family before she decided to partner up with her long-lost best friend, Vivian Bai to open 'La Rosé Latté Café Fleuriste', a flower cafe near their neighborhood. 11 years after their first child, Yuu was born, this little Rui family welcomed a baby boy named Hyuen Mika. Just like any sister and brother, they bicker a lot despite their close relationship. Although Mika loves to create trouble for Yuu, he always looks to his sister whenever facing any kind of problems since they spent most of their time together as their parents away for work. He is also very fond of Ryu and Euerin as the Loriguero siblings tend to pamper him more than his sister.

Ryuuzaki M. Lorigeuro (モト)
Profession: Professional motorcycle racer
Yuu and Ryu started off as childhood best friends who have grown up together due to their family's closeness. He is two years older by age which makes him a "nii-chan" (yet she avoids calling him that at all cost). He is known as someone who is born with a lot of charms and talents. Growing up together, she knows how much Ryu loves freedom and hates being restrained which is why he has her full support when he chose to pursue his dream career. He also often goes out of his way to help Yuu and her brother and thus, without any hesitation, Yuu willing to do the same for him. Through courses of events, she admits that she always gets Ryu into trouble whenever she arounds him.He is also Yuu's first love which she concealed about it for years as she acknowledges he is by far out of her league. Fate has its own way, years later they get engaged due to their family's long-time promise that leads to them confessing their feelings for each other. After their confirmed relationship, Yuu fully aware that his existence in her life is a pure blessing that she will never trade him for anything in the world– no matter what happens between them in future.

Euerin is Ryu's biological sister and Yuu's sister figure. She is warm by nature and has a very charismatic yet bold personality when it comes to her work ethic. Yuu gave her a nickname, 'Empress' due to her influence on Ryu and herself. The two are very close and share a lot in common personality-wise as they both are the eldest and the only daughter in their respective family. Yuu learned a lot about fashion, girl code, make-up, and most important, how to handle a younger sibling 101. Whenever a problem occurs (especially if it is about Ryu), Yuu will always seek for her help and advice and vice versa.She is happily married to the love of her life, Shimon Eita Okagarimoto, and is blessed with a newborn baby boy named Shousuke Enzo.
Kazuma Mike (カズ)
Profession: Architecture student & indie singer-composer
Their friendship started when they both meet in an after-school academy in their hometown, Osaka. From there on, they both started to hang out more often. Kazuma and Yuu were chosen to pursue their studies at Seoul National University under NIIED's scholarship for Korea-Japan Joint Higher Education. He also acted as Ryu's eyes, helping the older guy watch over Yuu whenever she is in the campus.Although most of the time, he appears to be a jokester, he is actually gifted. Despite pursuing architecture, he also has a passion for composition and musical instruments. Therefore he took practical music as his minor. Yuu sometimes becomes his co-composer/lyricist for his self-composed songs which mostly can be found on his SoundCloud channel: Kazumusic.
Ha Soobin (スビン)
Profession: Architecture student & campus track athlete
Yuu's close friend that she made in Korea. Soobin is known as an out-going, kind and very caring in person. She also has a strong sense of justice. Soobin first meets Yuu and Kazuma during SNU's orientation week as they enrolled in the same major. They formed a close relationship when Soobin happened to be Yuu's roommate for few months (before Yuu move out to live with Ryu). She also helped Yuu to adjust her life in the new environment by teaching her a lot of Korea's culture. She somewhat grows fonds and quite protective towards Yuu as time passes by. She shows a tsundere side with Kazuma, which according to Yuu- both of them probably gonna miss each other the most once they graduated.Soobin also excels in track and field making her one of a promising collegiate track athlete in SNU.
